Bengaluru: Two days after launching service on the purple line, the BMRCL launched service on the green line which connects western and southern parts of the city.

According to the authorities, on day one, the passenger response was good.

Initially, metro service will be available between 8 am and 11 am and 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm. The frequency of the service will be 5 minutes.

As this service connects important landmarks including Majestic, Malleshwaram, Peenya etc, it is expected to give a boost to the economy.
