BMRCL releases Covid guidelines for passengers

Bengaluru: The metro train resumed its service from Monday June 2 by strictly abiding to the Covid -19 protocols. Services were not made available on Saturday and Sunday in the view of weekend curfew.

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) mentioned in a press release that both the lines and the trains will operate between 7 am to 11 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm.

In the guidelines generated by BMCRL, passengers will be allowed to travel using smart cards and also online top-up through mobile app and official website would be encouraged.

Thermal scanning are mandatory for all the passengers at the entry of the station and hand sanitisers will be also provided. The passengers should strictly adhere to social distancing, wearing of mask and only four people will be allowed to use lift service at a time. Inside the train, alternate seats should be kept vacant, the release added.
