B’luru Police Station likely to be shut as cop tests Covid positive

Bengaluru: A woman Sub-Inspector posted at the Byatarayanapura Police Station in western Bengaluru has tested positive for Covid -19. Over 60 cops have been identified as her primary and secondary contacts.

The Sub-Inspector developed a fever after a returning to work following a recent trip. On the evening of Tuesday January 4, her Covid test came back positive.

According to a senior police official, she has been quarantined at home.
