Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police have procured around 2,000 collapsible barricades from an overseas company. These fibre-based barricades stand 4ft tall.

During VVIP movements, security, and protests, they can be dismantled and reassembled with removable clips. According to sources, the barricades will be distributed to 45 traffic stations in the city.

Collapsible barricades are lightweight, portable, and foldable, as well as weatherproof.
