Mysuru: JDS leader and former minister Sa Ra Mahesh, taking a jibe at DCM Laxman Savadi said that people who are addicted to watching blue film have been made the DCM of the state!

In a tweet, Mahesh took a dig at the DCM for his statement that former CM HD Kumaraswamy’s claim that drug money was used to topple his coalition government had made him laugh.

“When a man addicted to watching blue film was made the DCM, the people of the state did not know where to laugh or cry over their fate,” he said adding that whether it is intoxicating substances or blue film, both are different kinds of addiction.

In 2012, Savadi was caught watching pornographic clipping during the assembly sessions and then he was made to step down from his post.

His appointment as the DCM in the BSY-led state government had sparked debate.
