Bengaluru: BJP-JD(S) coalition has bagged the Bengaluru Urban Zilla Panchayat seat.

For the first time BJP member C Muniraju has become the president of the ZP. Parvathi Chandramma has been elected as the vice president of Bengaluru Urban ZP.

The coalition won the seat with 29 votes in favour of the candidate out of 50.

The result was expected as BJP-JDS members tied up in many constituencies.
