Bengaluru: After party national president Amit Shah visited Bengaluru on January 3, around 3.52 lakh members have joined the BJP.

An average of 58,000 people have enrolled themselves as the members in the last one week. Altogether, the BJP has so far enrolled 18.63 lakh new members, according to a press release from the party.

Shah, who reviewed the ongoing membership drive in Bengaluru, directed the State unit to take up the drive aggressively and also set a target to get one crore new members in the state.
