Bengaluru: The prestigious biennial Bengaluru air show will be held between Feb 3 and 5, 2021. These dates were recently finalised by the union defense ministry.

The first-ever air show was held in 1996. For the last couple of years, there were murmurs that the air show may be moved out of Bengaluru. However, for now, the union defense ministry has decided to continue the show in Bengaluru itself.

The air show will be held at the Yalahanka airbase. the Covid19 pandemic is expected to subside by then.

According to authorities in the know, this prestigious air show is expected to give a boost to the aerospace engineering and defense manufacturing sector of the country which has recently been opened up to private players.
