A cluster of five individuals has been apprehended by law enforcement authorities for assaulting an employee of a private firm situated in East Bengaluru. The group allegedly targeted Suresh, the victim, at the behest of one of his colleagues who harbored resentment towards him. Sources indicate that Suresh had been exerting pressure on his coworkers and even reprimanding them in front of company management.

Identified as Umashankar, Vinesh, Sandeep, and two others, the accused are said to have carried out the assault on Suresh, who works as an auditor at Heritage Milk Product company. The incident was recorded by a dashboard camera and showed Suresh being brutally attacked with an iron rod in a public area. The footage quickly spread across various social media platforms, sparking outrage among viewers.

Following the widespread circulation of the video, concerned citizens brought the matter to the attention of Bengaluru City Police through social media channels. Subsequently, the police swiftly launched an investigation.
