Bengaluru: ADGP (Law & Order) Alok Kumar has instructed all Police Commissionerates (with the exception of Bengaluru) and all district SPs to take steps to prevent minors from entering bars, pubs, and wine stores.

The move comes after right-wing activists disrupted a students’ party at a pub on Balmatta Road in Mangaluru.

It can be recalled that eight boys and girls were found to be underage at the Mangaluru pub. In a circular released by the ADGP on Tuesday July 26, Kumar further directed his officers to take steps to reduce drug use and drug peddling in the area.
