Bengaluru: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Wednesday July 27 submitted a 3,065-page chargesheet in the Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) recruitment scam to the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court.
In addition to 330 material evidence and 202 witness statements, the charge sheet lists 36 accused people.
These have all been submitted in sealed envelopes. The chargesheet against ADGP Amrit Paul has not yet been filed.
According to sources, more evidence against Paul is being gathered and he will be named in a subsequent additional chargesheet. The charge sheet’s contents have not been released as it was filed in sealed envelopes.
