Bengaluru: IT-BT Minister Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 25th Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2022, which will take place from November 16 to 18, through video conference.
The summit’s theme this year is “Tech4NextGen,” and it is expected that over 550 exhibitors, 2,000 startups, and 5,000 business attendees from 30 countries will participate.
Speaking to mediapersons he said that it will be the biggest technology conference in Asia, with a focus on startups, electronics, deep tech, and biotech. “It is a global event that puts India on the global technology map, making it one of the top tech summits,” he said.
He claimed that Karnataka held 25 per cent of India’s total IoT share and was second in chip design globally and that the state will bring about revolutionary changes in terms of supply chain management, the implementation of the New Education Policy (NEP), and cultivating future talent. He went on to say that as a result, the state will also be a leader in the semiconductor sector.
The summit will also feature a Global Innovation Alliance Track where nations will take part in conferences and form partnerships and collaborations. A few of the participants are South Korea, Canada, France, Australia, Japan, and Switzerland.
The conferences and discussions will cover topics such as artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, 5G, edge computing, space technology, genomics, biopharma, gene editing and agriculture, genomic medicine, biofuels, gene therapy, robotics, fintech, and social entrepreneurship.
The conference will felicitate companies from various sectors including software parks and information technology.
