Bengaluru: A woman from Brahmavar killed her three-and-a-half-year-old daughter before ending her life in RR Nagar on Thursday June 30.
The deceased have been identified as Deepa (31) and her daughter Ria.
According to sources, Deepa was residing in an apartment in RR Nagar with software engineer Adarsh, whom she had married in 2017. It has been reported that Deepa had stomach aches for the past few days and that her illness has made her often depressed.
She hanged herself from the ceiling after strangling her daughter to death with a dupatta.
A death note was also recovered which stated that nobody is responsible for her suicide. “I am sorry mom and Divya love you Shona,” the note read.
A case has been registered.
