Bengaluru: A 53-year-old man is accused of sexually harassing a 23-year-old female coworker at a printing press. The victim’s mother filed a complaint to Cottonpet Police.
The accused, Srirama, a resident of Lottegollahalli, and the woman, a Siddarathanagar resident in Cottonpet, worked together for six years.
He used to harass her and ask for sexual favours at work. She left her job but later went back to it after the owner of the printing press convinced the victim and her mother that such harassment wouldn’t happen again. Srirama, however, misbehaved with the woman again.
He has been booked under IPC section 354A (sexual harassment).
