Bengaluru: Bengaluru- Karwar daily express now has been named as Panchaganga express.

Udupi- Chikkamagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje had requested the railway ministry to name the train, Panchaganga express nearly a year ago. She had submitted a memorandum to then Union Railway Minister for State Suresh Angadi in this regard.

Bengaluru-Karwar is a super-fast express.

Panchaganga Express symbolises the holy rivers of the coastal Karnataka.
