Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy and H. D. Revanna released the second list of JDS candidates at a joint press conference held in the City. Swaroop has been given a ticket in Hassan Assembly constituency, which has attracted a lot of interest.

Revanna’s wife Bhavani had tried hard to contest from Hassan. However, as Kumaraswamy had said earlier, Swaroop was given B Form. Y. S. V. Datta, who has returned to the JDS from Kadur Constituency, has been given the ticket.

JDS workers in Hassan and fans of Swaroop celebrated as soon as the ticket was announced for Swaroop.
