Bengaluru: The City Police held a special operation as part of their drive to curb drug trade and transportation, and arrested 12 suspects while seizing contraband worth Rs. 1.42 Crore.
Separate operations were carried out in Kerala, Mumbai, and Bengaluru by Cubbon Park and Shankarpuram police.
During the raid, two Africans were arrested by Shankarpuram police, and 1.1 kg of MDMA worth Rs. 33 lakh was seized from them. Ganja was seized during the Cubbon Park police operation.
According to police, some of the suspects have been arrested for further interrogation.
