Bengaluru: AMC Engineering College student resorted to suicide here on Friday December 16.

The deceased has been identified as Nitin (19), a native of Kerala. He has joined the college 15 days ago.

According to the police, the student was allegedly in a state of depression for a while. He reportedly slit his own throat in a bathroom at the college.

The Bannerghatta Police has registered a case of unnatural death. Nitin’s parents are based abroad.
