Bengaluru: It has been reported that as many as 24,305 candidates were absent for the Economics paper of the Second Pre-University Examination on Monday March 13.

A total of 4,19,887 candidates were registered to write Economics. However, in all 3,95,582 were present.

The Department authorities said that no cases of malpractice in the examination has been reported.
