Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai unveiled South India’s Mahakumbha Mela on Friday October 7.
The Mahakumbha Mela will be held at Triveni Sangama in KR Pete Taluk of Mandya District from October 13 to 16.
A logo has been prepared for Mahakumbha Mela to be held in Ambigarahalli, Sangapura in KR Pete where there is a confluence of Cauvery-Hemavathi-Lakshmantirtha. There will be Gangaarathi, along with various other religious and cultural programmes daily.
The CM collected information about the Mahakumbhamela and issued instructions to make the special arrangements as lakhs of people are expected to participate in it.
