Bengaluru: Campaign for the state assembly election will end today at 6 pm. Voting will be held on Wednesday. Ruling BJP, opposition parties Congress, and JD(S) are sweating hard to win the election.
BJP’s star campaigner PM Narendra Modi concluded his campaign for the state election on Sunday May 7 night with a rally in Nanjangud. State leaders will continue the campaign on Monday.
Congress leaders including AICC president Mallikharjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and others will continue their state tour today. They will address massive rallies in different parts of the state as a last ditch to win back the state.
JD(S) is highly relying on the former CM HD Kumaraswamy, and former PM HD Deve Gowda. However, the pre poll surveys point out that party may not able to win majority. But it may play the role of king maker in the event of a hung assembly
