Bengaluru: The State Government has nominated rowdy-sheeter Manjunath alias Uppi as a member of the Anekal municipality. The move comes amid controversy over rowdy-sheeters’ attendance at BJP events.

A rowdy-sheeter has been seen with state BJP leaders for the fifth time.

Anekal, which located on the outskirts of Bengaluru, is experiencing a real estate boom. Manjunath is accused in many cases including murder.
