Bengaluru: The CID police arrested 38 teachers in connection with the teachers’ recruitment scam on Wednesday October 19.

These arrests are made in connection with teachers’ recruitment drives held in the year 2012-13, and 2014-15.

The highest number of arrests are made in Kolar, where 24 teachers were arrested.

The Education Department lodged a case in connection with this scam with Vidhana Soudha Police. Later, the State Government handed over the case to CID.
