Bengaluru: A man has been arrested by the police for hacking his wife to death in Kamakshipalya in city on Thursday. Incidentally the couple had filed for a mutual divorce recently at the family court.

Pallavi (23) is the deceased. It is said that Pallavi, a native of Sunkadakatte had married Puneeth Kumar, an auto driver and the marriage was on rocks, following which the two filed for mutual divorce. On Thursday, the two had appeared before the family court and undergone counselling as well. But, on returning home, it is said that the two picked up a quarrel and in a fit of rage Puneeth hacked Pallavi to death.

The cops have nabbed Puneeth.
