Bengaluru: A youth by name Narasimha Murthy (28), a factory worker committed suicide by jumping from the Goraguntepalya flyover claiming his newly born male baby has died. But his family members informed that the baby is healthy and active.

Narasimha Murthy is a resident of Kamakshipalya of the city. He jumped from the Goraguntepalya flyover on Friday evening. Even though he was rushed to the hospital, he died on the way.

According to the sources, 15 days ago, his wife had delivered a baby boy at her parent’s residence in Chittur of Andhra. The baby was healthy. On Friday morning he took three days leave from work, informing that his baby died.

When police inquired about the issue with his wife’s sister they denied the claim. They sent the picture of the baby to the
Peenya police, who are investigating the case.

Peenya police informed that they have registered a UDR case and will launch an investigation after the family members come out of the shock.
