Bengaluru: The Assam community delegation led by DJ Buon met Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Thursday March 26.

The Chief Minister assured them that the state government is committed to protecting the interests of the Assam community people residing in Karnataka.

On the same day the Raichur district delegation, led by MLA Shivraj Patil, met Chief Minister and requested him to set up an all-India medical science institute. Yediyurappa assured the MLA-led delegation that he will look into the matter.
