ASI thrashed by two youth over parking issue

Bengaluru: An assistant sub-inspector attached to Hebbal Traffic police was allegedly thrashed by two men after they were asked to move a parked vehicle, on Monday evening at Esteem Mall junction in Kempapura on Bellary Road.

As per unconfirmed sources, one of the accused is Sourabh, the son of a senior police officer of Maharashtra.

ASI Rajanna was deputed to clear the way as Governor Vajubhai Vala was on his way to the airport. He asked Sourabh to move his car, which was parked at the roadside.

There was a verbal duel over moving the car and in the melee Rajanna was thrashed by Sourabh who was accompanied by his friend.

A case has been registered and however no police officials were not available for comment.
