Bengaluru: Belur MLA K S Lingesh is likely to quit the JDS and join the BJP camp. On Sunday, August 4, he reportedly met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and discussed the formalities of joining the BJP.
Even though Lingesh hails from the Hassan district, the home turf of JDS supremo H D Devegowda and family, he has developed a serious difference of opinion with party strong man, former PWD minister H D Revanna.
A seer is reportedly mediating between Yediyurappa and Lingesh on the formalities of joining the BJP.
If Lingesh resigns, he will be the fourth JDS MLA to quit the party and join the BJP bandwagon.
