Bengaluru: A 32-year-old motorist was killed after a BMTC bus hit his vehicle in Kamakshipalya traffic police station limits on Sunday. This is the 4th such accident involving BMTC bus in Bengaluru in last two months.
The deceased is identified as C. Ramakirshna, from Kamakshipalya, who works as a security guard.
The incident took place on Sunday evening he was on his way to relative’s house when the bus crushed him. According to eyewitnesses, the bus driver was speeding and failed to control the vehicle and crushed the motorist.
Immediately the motorist was taken to ESI hospital in Rajajainagar where he breathed his last.
Police have arrested bus driver Mohammad Rafiq on charges of rash and negligent driving and bus has been seized.
