Angry lady conductor bites students in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A lady conductor of Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus allegedly bit the hand of two students after an alternation near Kadu Gondana Halli bus stop.

According to Gangammanagudi police, an altercation took place between the lady conductor and the students when the latter were found travelling on the footboard of the BMTC bus. The police have identified the lady conductor as Aruna and the students as Puneeth Gowda and Guru Praveen studying in MNDI College at KG Halli.

The police said that Puneeth Gowda had responded that he was going to alight at KG Halli bus stop but the conductor took his bus pass and asked him to collect it at the bus depot. The police said the students, while trying to take the bus pass, pushed her. It made Aruna angry and she bit Puneeth Gowda and Praveen hands, said police.

The police took the students and the conductor to the KC General Hospital for medical. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
