Bengaluru: Anganwadi workers with AITUC staged a protest to meet their various demands in Bengaluru on Monday.

They demanded an increase in honorarium for Anganwadi workers, The provision of 5000 rupees pension for the Anganwadi workers after retirement, and implementation of free medical facilities and an ESI plan.

The protesters requested Shashikala Jolle, Minister of Women and Child Development to discuss their demands with the CM BS Yediyurappa.
