Bengaluru: Tourism Minister, Vijayanagar MLA B.S. Anand Singh submitted his resignation to CM Basavaraja Bommai.

Singh who was upset for giving him a low-profile Tourism Department reportedly submitted his resignation letter. Later, he vacated his office and residence.

According to the sources, Singh is demanding any big portfolio according to his seniority.

BJP sources informed that Bommai brought the issue to the notice of both former CM B.S. Yediyurappa and High Command. With many MLAs expressing their anger against the way in which Cabinet is formed and several leaders are side lined, this issue expected to pose a threat to the newly formed government.

Meanwhile, former CM Siddaramaiah stated that this government will not last for long. “It will fall down soon,” said Siddaramaiah.
