Bengaluru: Finally, BJP state leadership broke silence on the arrest of former minister Gali Janardhana Reddy in the Ambidant scam. In a press release, party state president BS Yeddyurappa alleged that by arresting Reddy, the JDS-Congress coalition government has misused the power and the police department.

“Janardhana Reddy has been arrested by the political leadership. It is an act of revenge. The state government is misusing the ACB and CCB to silence its political opponents,” he criticized.

“Even before collecting proof, the CCB police were forced to arrested Janardhana Reddy. It is an act of political vendetta,” he criticized.

BSY’s statement comes a day after Janardhana Reddy’s vow that he will topple the government soon.

“BSY needs Reddy’s help for Operation Kamala. This is why BSY has now rushed to Reddy’s support, but there is no threat to the coalition government,” said a JDS leader.
