
Bengaluru: The State Government posted Alok Mohan as the Additional Director-General of Police (ADGP), Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), from Communication, Logistics and Modernisation.
The State government has also transferred another senior official from the ACB, K.V. Sharath Chandra, as IGP, Eastern Range, Davangere. Soumendu Mukherjee, IGP and Additional Director, Fire Services, has been given the additional charge of the post of IGP, Special Investigation Team, Karnataka Lokayukta.
M.A. Saleem, IGP, Eastern Range, Davangere, has been promoted as ADGP, Crimes and Technical Services. He will also hold the concurrent charge of the post of Commissioner for Traffic and Road Safety —a post held by D. Roopa since July after she was transferred from the Prisons Department. Ms. Roopa has been promoted as IGP and Additional Commandant General, Home Guards, and ex-officio Additional Director, Civil Defence, Bengaluru.
Malini Krishnamoorthy, Additional Commissioner of Police (Bengaluru West), has been promoted as ADGP and posted to Communication, Logistics and Modernisation. Bijay Kumar Singh, IGP, Intelligence, will replace her as IG and ACP, Bengaluru West, and will also hold the post of IGP, SIT.
Ravikumar H. Naik, SP, Karnataka Lokayutka, Belagavi, has been promoted to the grade of Deputy Inspector-General of Police and posted as DIGP, Intelligence, Bengaluru.
Alok Kumar, IGP, North-eastern Range, Kalaburagi, has been transferred as IGP, Northern Range, Belagavi. S. Murugan, IGP, Ballari, has been posted to the place of Mr. Kumar. K.S.R. Charan Reddy, IGP, Karnataka State Reserve Police, Bengaluru, has been promoted as ADGP, Training, Bengaluru. K. Ramachandra Rao is the new ADGP, Grievances and Human Rights.
