Bengaluru: Unable to cope up with the alleged harassment from higher officials, a bank manager committed suicide, on Tuesday late night at his residence in Tilak Nagar.

The deceased has been identified as Sudheendra Murthy (57), working as manager in Canara Bank at Jyothinagar Branch.

According to police, the deceased was under immense pressure for few months now due to the work environment and he had frequently expressed his displeasure over the issue with his friends and family members.

On Monday too, he had a long discussion with his family members, who somehow managed to relax him.

But, in the morning family members were shocked to see his dead body hung to the ceiling fan.

Police are investigating the case.
