Bengaluru: In a last ditch effort to save the coalition government, all 22 Congress ministers, including DCM Dr G Parameshwar, have resigned from their respective posts.
A decision in this regard was taken during a breakfast meeting held at Dr Parameshwar’s residence. The meeting was attended by AICC Karnataka in-charge K C Venugopal, former CM Siddaramaiah and other senior leaders
It was also decided that the rebel MLAs will be inducted into the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy-led government.
Meanwhile, Dr G Parameshwar met with Governor Vajubhai Vala to communicate the party’s decision.
Earlier, immediately after the meeting, CM H D Kumaraswamy arrived at Parameshwar’s residence and held a discussion with the Congress leaders.
