Bengaluru: All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi will campaign in the Raichur and Chikkodi Lok Sabha constituencies today afternoon.

According to sources in the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), RaGa will arrive in Ballari on Friday at 1 PM and reach Raichur via road. “After the Raichur convention, he will fly to Chikkodi in a helicopter. Here, he will campaign for party candidate Prakash Hukkeri,” said a KPCC leader.

“Former CM Siddaramaiah, DCM Dr G Parameshwara and CM H D Kumaraswamy will accompany RaGa on his tour,” he said.

Meanwhile, major irrigation minister D K Shivakumar will campaign in Shivamogga today. He will carry out road shows in several parts of the constituency, including Shikaripura.
