Bengaluru: Sri Visweshwaratheera Swamiji from Pejawar Mutt, Sri Nirmalanada Swamiji from Adichunchanagiri Mutt, inaugurated the Adamya Chetana Seva Utsav at Basavanagudi National College Ground on 31-12-2014.

It is slated to go on till the 4th of January.  The Utsav will host a space and aerospace exhibition, Green lifestyle exhibition, felicitation of scientists, cultural programmes, competitions in various intellectual and cultural competencies, and an oath for the nation.

Yesterday on the second day of the festival, Scientists who were instrumental in the success of the Mangalyaan mission to Mars and other eminent scientists like Dr. U. R. Rao etc were felicitated in the presence of Poojya Sri Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji of Shri Suttur Math and Manohar Parrikar, Minister of Defense, Govt. of India, who was the chief guest
