Bengaluru: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal will visit Bengaluru on January 11 to raise funds for the party.

The AAP Bengaluru has launched a fund raising lunch called ‘Lunch with Arvind’. Donors with a minimum contribution of Rs 20,000 may book their passes, party leaders said.

“AAP believes that transparent funding of political parties is the stepping stone to clean and honest politics. AAP is the only party that has been putting up all its donations on the website in a transparent manner.

Most other parties are funded by vested interests. Such funding comes with strings attached and this starts the vicious cycle of corruption in the system,” said AAP leader Prithvi Reddy.

Kejriwal will be in the City on January 11 for a variety of fund raising events, Reddy said. The donors can also register online at lunchwithak.aapkar.in or through phone on 080-33013349.
