Bengaluru: The Kannada Sahithya Parishat central committee has approved the proposal to hold the 85th Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahithya Sammelana in Kalaburugi.

A decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of the central committee held late on Saturday night. The meeting was attended by all 31 district Kannada Sahithya Parishat presidents.

“The 85th Sammelana dates will be decided after holding a discussion with all the stakeholders including the state government,” said Manu Baligar, president Kannada Sahithya Parishat.
