Bengaluru: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 6-year-old child was washed away in a rajakaluve (storm water drainage) in Maratahalli. A search operation has been launched by the NDRF team to locate the child.

Monalika is the 6-year-old child of a migrant labour couple from Assam.

“The incident occurred when the child was playing on Friday noon,” informed the Maratahalli police.

A complaint was lodged by Nithyananda, the child’s father.
