Bengaluru: Holiday has been announced for students of three classes studying in two schools in Dasarahalli zone of the City following 31 students of these classes testing positive for Covid – 19.

In the first incident, 10 students of Class V of a private school tested positive. In the second incident, 21 students of classes V and VI have tested positive.

Students of only these classes have been given a holiday. The school staff and other contacts of these students are now being tested.

This is the first such cluster outbreak in the educational institutions in this academic year.
