19 police officers from Karnataka to receive President’s medal

Bengaluru: As many as 19 police officers from the State will be conferred the President’s police medal for their services in New Delhi by President Pranab Mukherjee during the Independence Day celebration.

Officers including A S N Murthy, IGP-Internal security division, Bengaluru, and Vijaya Kumar G Dambal, Additional SP Ballari district will receive the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service. Seventeen others will also receive the Police Medal for Meritorious Service from the honourable president.

A statement from the DG&IGP’s office was as follows:
