Bengaluru: Sanjay (12) who sustained serious injuries in an accident that happened on the Jakkur flyover on Sunday May 22 gave life to five persons through organ donation.
Sanjay was declared brain dead at a city hospital as he did not respond to the treatments. His family members consented to organ donation after counselling. The family’s decision at this tough time won the hearts of many.
Five organs including two kidneys were harvested and transplanted to the needy patients who were suffering from organ failure.
