10k applications received for photocopies of SSLC answer scripts

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Secondary Education and Examination Board (KSEEB) has received around 10,000 applications for photocopies of answer scripts and as many as 343 applications for retotaling, this even as  the state had registered the highest ever pass percentage in the SSLC?exam this year.

KSEEB Secretary, Manjunath H said: “Since May 12 when the results were declared, we have received as many as 10,000 applications for photocopies. Many of these applications have request for photocopies of around two to three subjects. The valuation this year has been extremely good and we are not expecting any major changes in the marks.”   

The last date for applying for photocopies and for re totaling was May 22. A?student can apply for revaluation within seven days of receiving the photocopies of answer scripts.   

Last year, there were a large number of errors in the valuation of answer scripts. Out of the total of 5,075 SSLC?answer scripts that had been revaluated, errors were found in as many as 4,803 scripts.
