Bengaluru: 104-year-old freedom fighter HS Doreswamy has won the battle against Covid 19. He was admitted in Jayadeva hospital for two weeks. He was discharged on Wednesday.

After developing breathing difficulties, he was rushed to the hospital. Doreswamy thanked hospital director Dr CN Manjunath for providing good treatment for him.

He is the eldest person in the state to defeat the Covid 19. Earlier in the first wave several centenarians had recovered from Covid 19.

He is currently taking rest at his residence in Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
