1.85 lakh students appear for CET

Bengaluru: As many as 1,85,411 candidates are appearing to write the Common Entrance Test (CET) today and tomorrow.The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is conducting the entrance exam across Karnataka for admissions to engineering, pharmacy and Ayush courses.

The exams for biology (10.30 am to 11.50 am) and mathematics (2.30 pm to 3.50 pm) are being held, on Wednesday, physics (10.30 am to 11.50 am and chemistry (2.30 pm to 3.50 pm) tests will be conducted. 94,415 boys and 90,906 girls will appear for the exam in 404 centres, including 82 in Bengaluru.

The Kannada language exam (only in the Bengaluru centre) will be held on May 4 (Thursday) between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm for students of Horanadu (Kannadigas living outside Karnataka) and Gadinadu students (Kannadigas living in border areas).
