Vijayapura: The body of a girl was found in a farm well near Nagabenala Taanda in Konehalli under Nalatavada Hobli in Muddebihal Taluk in the District on Tuesday November 29.

The deceased has been identified as Sushmita Jevalappa Pawar (18), a second-year PUC student of Government PU College in Vijayapura.

Sushmita was often harassed by a youth named Sunil, who allegdly use to text and call her. The victim’s father has lodged a complaint at Muddebihal Police Station alleging that he was responsible for his daughter’s death. He alleged that the youth murdered her.

PSI Arifa Mushapuri has registered a case and initiated legal action.
