Vijayapura: Finance is not a hurdle in academics if a student has a strong conviction and a great zeal, as people will come forward to lend a helping hand, said Arbaz Ahmed, a PUC student from Bidar’s Shaheen College who secured the 3rd rank in Karnataka in the recently declared NEET results.
Addressing press persons, Ahmed, the son of a lorry driver who was paralyzed and bed-ridden, said that Shaheen institution came forward to offer him education.
“My elder brother also studied in the same college and is now pursuing his MBBS. I too want to become a doctor and serve society,” he said.
Ahmed also said that he is expected to get an admission in AIIMS, Delhi, where his classmate Kartik Reddy, who secured the 1st place in NEET in Karnataka is also enrolling in AIIMS for MBBS.
Praising the Shaheen institution, he said that the college provides the best educational atmosphere for students.
