Belagavi: The Kittur Festival, spanning three days, is set to commence at 7 pm today (October 23) at Kittur Rani Channamma Vedike within the Fort premises.

Madiwala Rajayogindra Swamiji from Kittur Rajguru Samsthana Kalmutt, Channamma, Panchakshari Swamiji from Nichanaki Guru Madivaleshwara Mutt, and Basava Jayamrutyunjaya Swamiji from Kudala Sangama will be present at the event.

District in-charge Minister Satish Jarkiholi will inaugurate the ceremony, and Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, along with Kannada and Culture Minister Shivaraj Thangadagi, will be the esteemed guests of honor. Kittur MLA Babasaheb Patil will preside over the event.

The upcoming Kittur festival will showcase musical performances by acclaimed artists including Sanchith Hegde, Nadabrahma Hamsalekha, and Shamita Malnad.
